Lora Hortert is a paralegal with Kious, Rodgers, Barger, Holder & King, PLLC. She has been with the firm for nine years, preparing pleadings and correspondence, and working with clients. Lora loves helping others, and feels that the biggest aspect of her role is assisting clients who are experiencing difficulties through no fault of their own.
Lora is originally from Woodbury, Tenn., but has since lived in Florida, Oklahoma and Washington, D.C. She moved back to Tennessee 20 years ago, and has called Murfreesboro home for the last sixteen years. Lora loves Murfreesboro’s “big, small town” feel, and enjoys its great selection of restaurants and activities.
She is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University where she majored in political science pre-law and minored in business administration. In her spare time, Lora fosters dogs through Big Fluffy Dog Rescue. She also enjoys participating in community theatre, having acted in several plays and serving as a board member of Murfreesboro Little Theatre.
